So, a 5 kW load at 240 V and PF 1 draws approximately 20.83 amps.

For a three-phase 5 kW load at 400 V and PF 0.8: A=50001.732×400×0.8A = \frac{5000}{1.732 \times 400 \times 0.8} A≈9.02AA \approx 9.02A
